NEW VIDEO — Kauai's North Shore
Yoga Temple Vision
- filmed on
location in Mysore, India and the North
Shore of Kauai
This celebratory gathering is one of Pineapple Yoga's community events - giving the Kauai Yoga community the opportunity to share their yoga experiences with one another as well as share delectable organic vegan dishes.

We will also welcome back Anthony "Prem" Carlisi and Heather Duplex to Pineapple Yoga KAUAI for the 6th consecutive year. Prem and Heather have over 50 years combined experience practicing and teaching Ashtanga Yoga. They will be teaching the "Mysore Style" classes at Pineapple Yoga from July 1st until October 31st.

Eagle in flight
In July, Eagle will "FLY" back to the KPJ Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India, for his 8th year in a row. There, he will be continuing his studies with R. Sharath and Saraswati, the grandson and daughter of the late, great Ashtanga Yoga master Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.

As the summer rolls on, please see the NEWS section of the Pineapple Yoga website for any events and classes that will be hosted by Eagle while on his travels during the months of September and October!

Mahalo to everyone! Thanks for all your love, support, and contributions to Pineapple Yoga since 2001 which has brought us to the next stage of our community service. Pineapple Yoga KAUAI is happy to announce the collaboration with Inter-Nation Cultural Foundation (INCF), a CA 501c3 non-profit, to create a traditional Ashtanga Yoga Temple on Kauai's North Shore. INCF (www.INCFWorld.org) is a donor directed non-profit, which grants each donor the right to specify the desired use for their contribution; all donations are tax deductible.

Pineapple Yoga Temple Floor Plan
The envisioned Pineapple Yoga Temple
will serve Kauai with...

~Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga~

In the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga Master
Sri K. Pattabhi Jois

Pineapple Yoga is in the process of fund raising for the development of a Sacred Geometry Temple to serve the community of Kauai with traditional ~Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga~ classes. The Pineapple Yoga Temple will serve and honor the Ashtanga Yoga practice by presenting the system just as it is taught in Mysore, India at the KPJ Ashtanga Yoga Institute.(www.KPJAYI.org)

The Pineapple Yoga Temple has been designed by Kauai's Sacred Geometry Master of Architecture Michael Patton.

Michael has created this design to be the most conducive environment to support us in finding our highest potential in personal and community growth.

Mahalo to Michael Patton for gifting his brilliant designs & devoted heart to the benefit of the upcoming Pineapple Yoga Temple and Kauai's North Shore community!

Our Moon

New and Full Moon Days...

MOON DAYS: The Ashtanga Yoga method is intended to be a daily practice with ONE day a week for rest (no practice). It is also recommended that the rest day is the same day each week. In addition, tradition calls for rest (no practice) on New Moon and Full Moon days. The reason for not practicing on New Moon and Full Moon days are due to the extreme polarities of the Moon's energy, leaving the practitioner susceptible to injury. New moon and full moon days for the year are at the top right hand side of the Pineapple Yoga website for all of 2010.

Shirin

New Moon Manifestation Circle
Pineapple Yoga in synergy with Shirin Healing
invites you to...

New Moon Manifestation Circle
at Anini Beach with Shirin!

Come and join Shirin and the North Shore community for each NEW MOON...

The New Moon is a powerful time to manifest your dreams. Using the energy of the new moon, you can focus your attention internally, release non-beneficial energies and call in your highest and best. Each new moon has its own astrological influence. By understanding these influences, you can direct & specify your intentions if you so choose. A new moon manifestation circle is held each month at the exact time of the new moon, or within the first eight hours of it. This is when the manifesting energies are strongest. These manifestation circles use the tools of ThetaHealing, which enables you to slow down your brainwaves to include the Theta wave. This is the brainwave you naturally experience prior to falling asleep. Everyone experiences theta brain waves so therefore, no special skills are required to do this manifestation technique.

For further information, please visit www.ShirinHealing.com and if you would like to sign up for the new moon manifestation monthly information!
